How do I crop an image precisely?
Drag any of the corner or edge handles to adjust the crop area, or drag inside the box to move it around without resizing. The exact pixel dimensions of your selection update live above the image.
Can I lock the crop to a specific aspect ratio?
Yes — click one of the aspect ratio presets (Square, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9) to snap the crop box to that ratio. You can still drag the handles afterward and the ratio stays locked.
How do I resize an image without cropping it?
Leave the crop box at its default full-image size (that's what it starts as) and just set your desired output width or height below — the other dimension follows automatically.
Will resizing distort my image?
No — output width and height are always linked to the crop box's aspect ratio, so the image only ever scales proportionally. There's no way to accidentally stretch or squash it.
What image formats are supported?
You can upload anything your browser can decode — JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and most others. The cropped result downloads in that same format.
Does this upload my photo anywhere?
No — the crop and resize happen entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image is never sent to a server.
